A playful Celtic and African inspired call-and-response song that includes a chorus featuring the tongue twister ‘she sells sea shells by the sea shore’. From the Cocos Lunch EP for children I Wanna Be A Mermaid. Originally commissioned by the Victorian Arts Centre for the 2007 Chookahs Festival.

Three part vocal score plus Soprano lead, or alternatively can be performed as a four part score (SSAT) without soloist.  Optional flute part included. Suitable for women's voices (if female tenor voices are available) or mixed choir. Includes African-inspired percussion parts for djembe, floor tom & cow bell.
